In the third quarter of 2022, the performance of the top social networking applications on iOS in Chile revealed some interesting trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these apps.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 10K and 20K. The highest number of downloads was observed in the week of August 8, reaching approximately 20K. Active users remained stable, averaging around 2.1M throughout the quarter.

Messenger experienced a notable peak in downloads in late August, with weekly downloads hitting around 22K. Active users showed a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, growing from approximately 817K to 835K.

Facebook saw its weekly downloads peak at around 16K in early July. The app's weekly revenue peaked at about $3.6K in mid-July, while active users consistently hovered around 2.3M throughout the quarter.

BeReal: Photos & Friends Daily showed significant growth in weekly downloads, reaching a high of approximately 30K in the last week of September. Active users also saw a substantial increase, growing from around 12K in late June to over 145K by the end of September.

Telegram Messenger had a steady performance with weekly downloads ranging between 9K and 13K. The highest weekly revenue was recorded in mid-September, peaking at around $261. Active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around the 190K mark.
